About Steve Hanley
Before becoming a global estate agent, for 25 years Steve Hanley owned a translation agency with prestigious clients around the world. Prior to that he was a managing consultant at Price Waterhouse in London and Madrid specializing in IT security, and a senior auditor at Bank of America in London and Miami. He holds an MA in Hispanic Cultures from Columbia University, a BA in economics from George Washington University, an advanced postgraduate certificate in finance from New York University, a postgraduate certificate in creative writing from Columbia University, and studied law at Duke University. He has worked in some 30 countries in North and South America, Europe and Asia, y ¡habla español! Through his great-grandmother, Mary Catherine Vanderbilt, Steve is descended from some of the earliest Europeans to come to the New World, the Van Brunts, who settled in Gowanus, Brooklyn, in 1615.
Although he specializes in Broward County, Steve first moved to South Florida in 1985, and has lived in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties. He knows and loves the area, and has seen it grow from when I-95 ended at PGA Boulevard and Weston was but a developer's dream.
Steve's goal is and always has been to provide the highest level of customer service possible, to help buyers buy at the right price, and sellers sell at the right price. He believes that direct, honest communication and interaction is the best way to ensure problems are avoided before they happen, and if they do happen that they are resolved promptly and amicably.
